The GHS careers class (designed to expose students to their surrounding community) took a trip to Mackinac Island thanks to a $600 grant from the GYBC.

A total of 18 students had the chance to go over the bridge, ride a ferry, take a carriage ride around the island, see Fort Mackinac, go to the butterfly house and ride bikes around the island.

At the end of the day, one of the seniors, Zach, said “this has been my best day ever.”
